LAIII:  Supervisor of Electronic Resources 

The Old Bridge Public Library seeks a supervisor of Electronic Resources to=
 join our Library team.  The supervisor of Electronic Resources is responsi=
ble for creating and maintaining the Library=92s web page; supervising, tra=
ining and scheduling ER staff; developing and teaching computer assisted cl=
asses for the public and staff; supervising the maintenance and troubleshoo=
ting of computer hardware, software and networking devices; and working col=
laboratively with other staff to promote and develop new and innovative lib=
rary services using Web 2.0 technology.

quality service.  S/he will be a visionary who likes a challenge; thinks cr=
eatively; and has a welcoming and empathetic attitude.  S/he is a leader wh=
o is dependable and will serve as an example.  S/he will be knowledgeable a=
bout web page design, computers and technology and be eager to learn more. =
S/he will have excellent organizational skills. 

The successful candidate will have a diverse background and experience that=
 enables him to understand the needs of different departments and to see po=
ssibilities from different perspectives.  S/he will interact effectively wi=
th all staff and customers and will have excellent oral and written communi=
cation skills in the English language. 

Some experience in a public library or equivalent is required.  Direct expe=
rience with web page design using Dreamweaver and other software, computers=
 and their maintenance and networks and technology is required.  A Bachelor=
s Degree and supervisory experience are required.  Salary is $31,216 with a=
 generous benefits package. The thirty-five hour work week will include day=
, night and weekend hours. Library employees are members of AFSCME and belo=
